ReceiptFolio does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. This policy explains what information stays on your device and why.
Data Storage
All receipts, PDFs, and extracted text are stored exclusively in iCloud Drive folders that you choose on your own device. No data is sent to any server operated by the developer. Your files remain under your full control at all times.
Camera and Photo Library
Camera and photo library access is used solely to capture or import receipt images. Images are processed on-device and saved to your chosen iCloud Drive folder. They are never uploaded to any third-party service.
On-Device Processing
All text recognition (OCR) runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Receipt content — including merchant names, amounts, and dates — never leaves your device during processing.
iCloud Sync
Receipts sync between your devices through your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. ReceiptFolio has no access to your iCloud account or the files stored there.
Analytics and Tracking
ReceiptFolio contains no analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or advertising frameworks. No usage data is collected or transmitted.
Children's Privacy
ReceiptFolio is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
